about

So thankful that Brad and I managed to get this track in before the vodka took all of our good senses one late night. 'Burning Man' was a lost notebook poem that refused to stay lost, and I'm pretty damn glad about that. The track was recorded in Brad's basement studio in Ferntree Gully, Victoria. After that we recorded 45 minutes of the worst white boy freestyle hip-hop in history. You will never hear it. Never. 'Burning Man' is probably the recording I'm most happy with of all of them. Whisper is there's a video clip being made of the poem.

Steve Smart Poetry & Music Melbourne, Australia

Steve Smart is practically indestructible. Hard headed and stubborn, he may not be the most famous poet in the world but no one can say it's from lack of trying. All of his poetry and music albums are right here at Bandcamp.
